The main types of SMD LED are chip transistors and integrated circuits. Integrated circuits include SOP, SOJ, PLCC, LCCC, QFP, BGA, CSP, FC, MCM and so on.
Examples of SMD LED types are as follows:
1. Interconnect: Provide mechanical and electrical connection/disconnection, consisting of connecting plugs and sockets, connecting cables, brackets, chassis or other PCBs to PCBs; However, the actual connection with the board must be through surface mounted contact.
2. Active: In analog or digital circuits, the voltage and current can be controlled by itself to produce gain or switching action, that is, to react to the applied signal and to change its basic characteristics. Passive Electronic Components (Inactive): When applied to an electrical signal, it does not change its own characteristics, that is, it provides a simple, repeatable response.
3. Odd-form: Its geometry is peculiar, but not necessarily unique. Therefore, it must be manually mounted. The shell (compared with its basic functions) is not standard in shape, such as many transformers, hybrid circuit structures, fans, mechanical switch blocks, etc.
